Int'l Tourists to Hanoi Down 18% in Jan-August
The Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism saw a decrease of 18% in the number of international visitors to the city in the first eight months of this year.
The department did not disclose the total number of foreign tourists during the period.
Between January and August, Hanoi welcomed 6.3 million domestic visitors, up 20% on-year, the department added.
Currently, the number of foreign tourists to Hanoi accounts for 33% of the country’s total. (Economy & Urban)
