Vietnam, China Boost Tourism Cooperation
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and Chinese localities of Sichuan and Chongqing have inked an agreement to boost tourism ties.
The singing ceremony was witnessed by Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung who has just wrapped up his visit to China.
Under the deal, the sides will join hands in holding tours, developing tourism infrastructure and diversifying tourism products.
The move aims to lure more Chinese visitors to Vietnam, which saw an on-year decrease of 32.3% in the number of tourists from China in the first nine months of this year. (Culture)
