Vietnam, Brazil Hold Workshop on Food Industry
Officials of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh city (VCCI-HCM) and five food companies from Brazil’s Parana state co-organized a workshop on food and foodstuff in Ho Chi Minh city in late October.
The Brazilian companies are distributors of meat, foodstuffs, chocolate, creams, cakes and flour, coming to Vietnam to seek for investment opportunities, and cooperate with local partners in food industry.
In the Jan-Aug period, Brazil exported US$236.1 million worth of products to Vietnam, of which the Parana state exported $36.7 million.
