VCCI Signs Cooperation Deal with DECP
In order to enhance the capacity of staff of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), enterprises and businesswomen, VCCI has signed a cooperation deal with Dutch Employers’ Cooperation Programme (DECP) in Hanoi.
Accordingly, DECP will support VCCI with a view to advocacy, provision of services and a strengthening of VCCI’s organizational structures. There will be regular consultation between VCCI and DECP on the content of this programme and on possible adaptations as a result of developing views and progress.
Points which will receive attention include the following: Activity to exchange international experience on revising the Vietnam Labour Code; Consultation meetings with members of the Board of Editing Vietnam Labour Code and enterprises to make recommendations to revise the Vietnam Labour Code; Activities to improve the capacity of women leaders in doing business; Training programmes “Starting and improving your business (SIYB) for women in urban areas”; Training programmes and workshops for VCCI/VWEC, BEA and MTD (Membership and Training Department); Activities to improve relationship between VCCI and Government agencies and other stakeholders; Activities to improve the relations with the trade unions; Other skills training workshops.
