Meeting with Foreign Enterprise Associations in Vietnam

Being a representative organisation of the business community, the VCCI often exchanges information with foreign enterprise associations in Vietnam.

 

On the occasion of the Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day, October 13, VCCI organized two events named “Developing roles of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in industrialisation, modernisation and global integration” forum and the ceremony to mark Vietnam Entrepreneurs day and honor outstanding businesspeople 2009 on October 10 in Hanoi.

The second meeting is hoped to tighten the cooperation between the associations and is a place for them to contribute their opinions to improve the Vietnamese investment environment.

 

The first exchange meeting was held in May this year, attracting the participation of the VCCI chairman and leaders from foreign enterprise associations in the country, including those from the US, Japan, China, the UK, France and South Korea. 

 

The events are expected to draw party and state leaders, officials from ministries, agencies and localities, enterprise associations as well as businesspeople. The meetings will be also attended by outstanding enterprises voted over the past four years for their business achievements and contributions to job creation, the country’s socio-economic development.
