45% of Vietnamese Firms Pay Undue Attention to Competition Law: Survey
Up to 44.8% of Vietnamese companies have paid undue attention to the Competition Law, showed a survey by Vietnam Competition Administration Department (CAD) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The department conducted the survey over 1,000 firms across Vietnam indicated that most of Vietnamese businesses have updated themselves about the law.
As a result, they are not fully aware of the rights and responsibility mentioned in the law, said head of CAD's Competition Supervision and Management Division Tran Phuong Lan.
Since the law was enacted on July 1, 2005, Vietnam authorities have dealt with more than 20 cases relating to unfair competition. (VNA)
