Apparel Exports to EU Up 12% to US$1.2B in Jan-Sept
The Vietnam General Department of Customs estimated that the country’s apparel export value to the 27-member EU market rose 12% from a year earlier to US$1.2 billion between Jan and September.
The country’s exports to Luxembourg hit US$11 million against US$42,000 of the nine-month period of last year.
Apparel exports to Germany up 14.39%, the U.K. 9.8%, Spain 40% and the Netherlands 7.83%.
Vietnamese apparels, mainly shirts, T-shirts, coats, trousers, child clothes, jumpers, accounted for 1.98% of the EU market share in the period. (Trade & Industry)
