Vietnamese Dairy Product Suppliers Raise Prices Again

A number of dairy product suppliers in Vietnam will raise prices again due to milk price hike, the Dau tu (Investment) newspaper published by the Ministry of Planning and Investment reported.
 
Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (VNM), or Vinamilk increased its products by 6% as offering its Dielac 123 brand milk at VND124,000-132,000/tin. Bui Thi Huong, representative of Vinamilk said that increased prices of sugar and imported powder milk forced the company to raise its product prices.
 
The International Milk Joint Stock Company (IDP) said that they will raise their fresh milk prices by nearly 10% due to increased packing prices.
 
Representative of the Hanoi Food JSC, Hancofood, said that the company will increase their product prices by 5%-10% from the beginning of 2010. (Investment)
