U.S. Ranks 7th Among Biggest Investors in Vietnam

The U.S. currently ranks the 7th among 88 foreign countries and territories investing Vietnam with 474 valid projects valued at US$8.68 billion.
 
In the first ten months of this year, the United State poured US$8.11 billion into a number of projects in Vietnam, accounting 41% of total foreign direct investment in the Southeast Asian nation.
 
In the ten-month period, Vietnam fetched US$9.29 billion from exporting goods to the U.S., falling 7.27% from a year earlier.
 
During the period, Vietnam imported US$2.33 billion worth of goods from the U.S., up 4.23% on-year, resulting in the country US$6.96 billion. (Trade & Industry)
