Vietnam Forecast to Export $329.5B Goods in 2006-2010
Vietnam is projected to reap $329.5 billion from exporting goods during the 2006-2010 period, representing an annual increase of 14.9% on average.
The country’s trade deficit is estimated at $61.9 billion during the period.
The widening trade gap is worsening the country’s deficit in current accounts and hurting forex reserves and balance of international payments, said the ministry.
Vietnam’s current account deficit during the period is forecast at $30 billion, the MPI added. (Vietnam Economic Times)
