Vietnam-Russia Trade Valued at $1.59B in Jan-Oct

Trade between Vietnam and Russia stood at $1.59 billion in the first ten months of this year, the Vietnamese government said on its website.
 
The two-way trade is forecast to soar 21.88% on-year to $2 billion in 2009.
 
At present, Vietnam mainly exports apparel, seafood, footwear and farm produce to Russia and imports steel, gasoline, machinery and fertilizer.
 
The bilateral trade was valued at $1.64 billion in 2008, including Vietnam’s trade deficit of $298 million. (www.chinhphu.vn))
