Vietnam Fashion Fair 2009 Taking Place
The Vietnam fashion fair 2009 has been taking place from December 18 to 25 at Hanoi-based Giang Vo Exhibition Center with more than 50 apparel pavilions, 30 footwear pavilions and more than 30 others of jewelries and cosmetic products.
This year’s fair, with the participation of famous trademarks like Traly, Pyvon, Thaicom, Winny and Owen, will focus on encouraging domestic consumers to use Vietnamese goods.
Many trade promotion programs and performances such as the Hair Gala 2009, fashion shows will be held throughout the one-week fair.
The annual event is one chance for Vietnamese producers to regain the domestic market from foreign rivals, contributing to ease effects of export fall due to the global economic downturn.
Some businesses from China, Pakistan, Laos and Cambodia will also display their products such as handicrafts, jewelries and apparels at the fair.
