Vietnam Smaller Exchange to Launch Online Transaction Late February
The Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) will officially launch online transaction system from late February, 2010 if things go smoothly, said Vu Quang Trung, deputy general director of the exchange.
The exchange will test the system with some selective securities companies prior to Lunar Tet holiday before applying for the whole system, Trung said.
The online system will help ease overload in order placing, transmitting from stock brokers to the exchange, and increase the transparency.
Trung also noted that the HNX has prepared supportive transmission line, 3-4 layer protection system to prevent system failure. (Securities Investment)
