Animal Feed Prices Increasing Sharply in Vietnam: Assoc Official
Prices of animal feed rose VND200 per kg on average in Vietnam market following the prices hike on the global market, according to Le Ba Lich, chairman of the Vietnam Association of Animal Feed.
Lich said that animal feed prices rose by 15%-20% in the world market from several weeks ago.
Lich also unveiled that Vietnamese animal feed producers are earning a little, some of them are even working without profit because they have bought materials at high prices.
Meanwhile, Vietnamese animal raisers, who are boosting breeding to meet growing demand in the New Year and Lunar New Year festival, have been hurt by low meat prices. (Vietnam Agriculture)
