Vietnam Banks Make Govt-support Loans of VND415.216T
Banks and financial companies in Vietnam had extended subsidized loans to VND415.216 trillion ($22.47 billion) as of December 17, 2009, the State Bank of Vietnam, the country’s central bank, said.
In the week ended on December 17, they added VND387.74 billion to the economy, up 0.09% from a week earlier, it said.
Of the total sum, they lent VND59.817 trillion to state-owned companies, VND290.093 trillion to non-state firms and VND65.305 trillion to households. (SBV)
