Vietnam Exports to Thailand Down 6.14% to US$1.26B in 2009
Vietnam’s exports to Thailand fell 6.14% from a year earlier to US$1.26 billion last year. Crude oil, computers and electronics, seafood, machinery and equipment were Vietnam’s export staples to Thailand.
The country also imported US$4.84 billion worth of goods from Thailand, resulting in Vietnam’s trade deficit of US$3.58 billion in 2009.
Vietnam and Thailand aim to raise bilateral trade to US$10 billion in 2010, up from US$6.1 billion in 2008. (Trade Info)
