The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Hanoi Business Association has recently organised a conference on Vietnam business associations in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.

This is the first time a large-scale event is held with more than 500 attending businesses. They act as a bridge to organise meetings and discussions on matters of common concerns to seek best solutions to arising problems.

At the meeting, attendants debated such issues as improving the capacity of business associations, relationship between associations and companies in exercising the role of presenting employers, associations with domestic market development and the “Buy Vietnamese” campaign.

Addressing at the event, Dr Vu Tien Loc, President of VCCI, said: The conference is a chance for the Vietnam Council for Vietnam Business Associations strengthen relations, exchange information and experience for mutual development.
