SeABank continues impressive growth in its operating scale, market share, products, technology and brand, resetting the benchmark on its road to become a major retailing bank in Vietnam.
In 2009, SeABank officially relocated its head office from 16 Lang Ha Street, Dong Da District to 25 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The SeABank headquarters is tailor-designed for the financial and monetary business with professional storage systems and a modern security system to meet banking operation requirements. The building is also equipped with the Building Management System (BMS), the most modern in Vietnam, which helps reduce labour costs, power consumption and provides a safe, professional and environment-friendly workplace for employees. SeABank also applies modern information equipment as the Data Centre, XP 24000 storage system and IBM P595 server system. SeABank is the first business in Southeast Asia to employ modern Core Switch Nesus 7000 solutions from Cisco.
The SeABank trademark is an intangible asset with tremendous value. In its new stage of development, with the desire to carry a new dynamic image to customers, SeABank leadership has replaced brand identity system with a new logo and slogan, marking a turning point in the bank’s development orientation.
The new SeABank brand identity system is built on careful study and analysis of colour, meaning and symbolism suitable for retail banking strategy.
The SeABank logo is in the sophisticated shape of an ancient coin - a symbol of SeABank’s scope of operation in the banking and financial sector. The “square - circle” element in the logo symbolises the harmony between heaven and earth, between people and heaven and earth, the people and life, and the strong connection between SeABank and their customers and partners as they cooperate and support each other.
In addition to the image, the colour also contributes to the SeABank logo. The perfect combination of red, white and black symbolises enthusiasm in association with strength, luck and success and represents transparency, clarity and quality.
In addition to the change in the logo, SeABank officially changed its slogan January 1, 2010. Its slogan “Linking Life’s Values” is a strong confirmation of its ability for continuous innovation and profound understanding with each client. SeABank is committed to becoming a strong link, helping customers realize their dreams, and linking resources with customers for the best solutions.
The change in development strategy toward the form of a retail bank and the announcement of a new brand identity are the first steps in the process of transforming SeABank toward stronger and more successful development.
SeABank is building sustainable growth, for the benefit of customers. Innovation is the driving force but also the challenge for SeABank development. Accepting change and boldly confronting new challenges will help SeABank realise its goal of becoming a banking and financial group with outstanding trademark and quality values on the Vietnamese market.
