Argentine Firms to Boost Investment in Vietnam
Argentine business executives showed their interest in boosting investment in Vietnam at a meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung April 17.
They are keen on projects in the fields of energy, oil and gas, high-tech, infrastructure construction, husbandry, farm produce processing, agriculture, apparel, footwear, electrics and electronic appliances in the Southeast Asian country.
At the meeting, PM Dung said the Vietnamese government will create more incentives for Argentine firms’ projects, adding that the country is improving its business environment to attract more foreign investors.
Dung, who wrapped up a three-day visit to the Latin American country on April 17, added that the two nations are accelerating major investment projects, including IMPSA’s $3.2-billion power projects. (Labor)
