Vietnam HCM City Industrial Output +14.5% to VND174.72T in Jan-April
The industrial production value of Ho Chi Minh City in southern Vietnam is estimated to have soared 14.5% from a year earlier to VND174.78 trillion (US$9.2 billion) in the first four months, Mayor Le Hoang Quan told a meeting April 26.
In April industrial output is estimated to have reached VND46.5 trillion this month, up 2.8% on-month and 14.3% on-year.
The southern city has targeted an on-year growth of 7.7% in industrial production value to VND515.8 trillion this year. (Nhan Dan April 27 p7)
