Vietnam City to Host Telecom, IT Exhibition in November
The 13th international exhibition on electronics, telecommunication and IT will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City from November 17-20.
The event entitled Vietnam Telecomp/Electronics - Internet & IT 2010, is expected to attract over 200 local and international exhibitors.
The exhibition will focus on such issues as ICT industry development, internet application in the 3G era and the exploration of new business mode, technology innovation in mobile internet.
This year, internet and IT fields are included in the exhibition, aiming to serve the convergence trend and the development of ICT and broadcasting industries, said Bui Quoc Viet, deputy head of the organizing board.
The Ministry of Information and Communications is the main sponsor of the event.
Vietnam is building up action plans to turn it into a strong ICT nation in the region by 2020. Growth of internet users had reached 100% in the past four years. (Investment, VoV)
