Vietnam Central Province to Invest VND350B in Sa Huynh Tourism Site

Vietnam’s central province of Quang Ngai has okayed to invest VND350 billion (US$18.4 million) in expanding Sa Huynh tourism site in order to respect one of three Vietnamese old cultures.

The complex, which will include Sa Huynh cultural relic area, ornamental creature area, sports complex, shopping area and stop station, expects to attract a large number of local and foreign visitors as completed in 2016.

The Sa Huynh culture lasted from the year 1,000^th B.C to the end of the second century A.D, marking a flourishing period in Vietnam’s cultural history with the development of pottery, jewelry, cultivation, fishing and burial. (VNA)
