Vietbuild Expo 2010 Opens in HCM City
The 2010 International Exhibition of Construction, Building Materials, Real Estate and Interior Décor (Vietbuild) was opened in Ho Chi Minh City on July 10 by AFC International Exhibition Joint Stock Company and the Information Centre - Ministry of Construction under the umbrella of the Ministry of Construction and the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
Delivering a speech at the exhibition, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai said the construction industry has made continuous development in recent years and has made important contribution to the national development. This stimulating event is very important in the process of industrialisation and modernisation.
The exhibition attracted more than 800 businesses from many countries like Japan, the US and Australia to showcase their products and services related to industrial and civil construction, construction materials, interior and exterior decoration, architecture and design, urban planning, and housing, office and workshop equipment.
The organisation board also granted the Trademark Gold Cup for 93 companies, aiming to honour good performers in the construction industry.
