European Trade Information Centre Launched
The European Trade Information Centre (ETIC) was officially opened in Euro Centre Building at 49 Mac Dinh Chi, Ho Chi Minh City on July 9, aiming to establish a sustainable and accessible source of information about the European market.
It serves as a European helpdesk that provides trade and EU market information for the Vietnam Business Association and its members, especially small and medium-sized enterprises.
The centre also functions as a library providing database from partners, including the European Union (EU), CBI, Eurostat, Export Helpdesk, IMF, ABD, UNCTAD, ITC and ECOMVIET.
The centre is part of the third phase of the “Multilateral Trade Assistance Project” (Vietnam - EU MUTRAP III) funded by the European Union to improve capacity on trade policy for Vietnamese business associations.
