U.S Remains Vietnam Top Importer of Steel Products in H1

The U.S. remained Vietnam’s biggest buyer of steel products with import values of US$49.38 million in the first half of this year, rising 3.82% from a year earlier.
 
Japan ranked the second with US$38.63 million, down 0.55% on-year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said.
 
Germany, Cambodia and Malaysia followed with respective figures of US$34.32 million, up 82.05%, US$24.86 million, down 14.83% and US$22.4 million, up 665.59%.
 
Brazil reported the highest on-year import growth of these products from Vietnam at 7,982.97% to US$25.11 million during the period.
 
Vietnam fetched US$361.02 million from exported steel products during the period, up 31.15% on-year. (Vinanet)
