Hanoi and Hue Boost Tourism Cooperation

The Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Thua Thien - Hue Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism signed an agreement on tourism development cooperation in Hanoi on January 10, 2011.

 

Accordingly, in 2011 and 2012, both sides will step up the advertising, promotion and utilization of the value of their Unesco-accredited heritages like the Complex of Hue Monuments, Doctorate Memorial Steles - Literature Temple, Thang Long Royal Palace Relics, Giong Festival and Soc Son Temple, Ca Tru Singing, and Hue Royal Court Music. In addition, the two localities will coordinate in organising cultural events like cultural - tourism roadshows in the country and in the world, Hue Festival 2012, and National Tourism Year 2012 in Thua Thien Hue.
