“Siemens Day in Vietnam 2013”

The Siemens Day in Vietnam 2013 marked the 20th founding anniversary of Siemens Vietnam.

 

The event, organised in Hanoi, drew the participation of Vietnamese Government officials, German Government officials, valued customers, news agencies and senior Siemens officials. The event started with a press conference and the launch of the first prototype of hybrid-drive bus using ELFA technology. Siemens ELFA drive technology allows urban buses to reduce fuel consumption by 50 percent and thus significantly cut costs. The operation of these buses will also mitigate impacts on environment through lower exhaust emissions, and at the same time, provide maximum comfort for passengers. Furthermore, riders and drivers travelling behind the bus can enjoy clean air when the diesel engine of the bus stops.

 

Besides, the “Siemens Day in Vietnam 2013" included four specialised seminars on energy, health, industry, and infrastructure and cities.
