Authorities and Enterprises Should Work Together More Closely

For many years, with the support of the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Vietnam Customs and Lang Son government, Lang Son Customs Department has successfully realised its tasks and targets, contributing to socio-economic development of Lang Son. Export – import revenues of Lang Son Customs Department has always achieved or exceeded goals, smuggling illegally or counterfeited articles remarkably reduced. In the following time, Lang Son Customs wishes to coordinate more closely with local authorities, polices, border guards, market management officers to prevent smuggling more effectively.

Entrusted by local authorities, the company has been assigned the tasks of managing the environment and sanitation of Lang Son City and surrounding districts, and it has made great efforts to complete these tasks. However, it expects to have closer cooperation of authorities of all levels to to raise awareness of protecting environment and sanitation.

With an area of about 7,000 ha, currently the company is facing with difficulties in planting and protecting forests, especially dealing with people occupying and violating forest land. Therefore, the company requires local authorities to have stronger solutions, cooperate more closely with the company to solve these problems.

For the last years, with efforts and determination to improve investment environment and to create a more open, favourable conditions for enterprises to develop of local authorities and industries, I believe that in the near future, Lang Son will be an ideal destination for investors. However, in my opinion, it is high time Lang Son adopted “one-top shop” mechanism, upgraded transportation infrastructure. It should also share with enterprises, entrepreneurs, frequently listen to their opinions and aspirations and timely help them deal with problems to make them feel secured to invest.

 

Recently, the economy is facing many difficulties; therefore, local enterprises must have more coordination and fairer competition. Projects in the province should give priority to local enterprises first.
