An Viet Fibre Join Stock Company was set up in 2007 and started operation in June 2008. After more than 5 years of operation, An Viet Fibre has continuously expanded its production scale and capacity to meet market demand, thus helping raise the localisation rate in the Vietnamese textile and garment industry. To improve the product quality to meet higher customer demand, the company has invested in modern production lines powered by German technologies, professionalised production processes and improved quality management system.
The shrinking demand caused by global economic crisis and the presence of more non-woven fabric companies stiffen competition among fabric companies. An Viet Fibre Joint Stock Company still advocates competing on three criteria: quality, price and service. Being aware that product quality and reputation are vital to the company, since its inception, An Viet has actively researched, manufactured and introduced high-quality products to the market which are rapidly accepted by the market. Especially, the company focused on making high quality low-priced products to meet the wider range of customers.
An Viet Fibre Joint Stock Company is now the first company to make 100 per cent non-woven polypropylene spunbonded fabric in Vietnam. AVICO® branded non-woven polypropylene spunbonded fabrics are environmentally friendly and made in a closed technological process. The products meet EU and USA standards, tested and verified good and safe for health by TUV Reinland Company (Germany) and SGS Company (Hong Kong). Non-woven polypropylene spunbonded fabric, coming in diverse types, is applied in many industries such as mattress, sofa, sports shoes, medical masks, surgery and lab clothes. To meet production demand for various industries, An Viet makes products with different colour content, from 12g - 200g/m2. Specially, with fire-retardant, water-resistant, durable and environmentally friendly properties, non-woven fabrics are used to make alternative packages and bags to plastic bags - a big hazard to the environment.
To date, the development of the An Viet Fibre Joint Stock Company has contributed to the development of "Made in Vietnam" fibre brands, thus helping raise the localisation rate for the Vietnamese garment industry. Apart from the domestic market, An Viet highly reputed yarns are also exported to other countries.
With its sharpness, creativity and effort, An Viet Fibre Joint Stock Company has maintained steady growth and ensured better living conditions for its employees. During its development history, An Viet always upholds its staff. Personnel is considered the foundation, the driving force for development and the valuable property; the company thus at all times ensures the best regimes and policies for employees. Besides, apart from paying all taxes, An Viet also actively participates in social welfare movements to bring more smiles to the community and make practical contributions to socioeconomic development of Long An province.
Speaking of future development, Director Le Tuan Kiet said An Viet strives to maintain stable production in 2013 to ensure employment and incomes for labourers. In the long term, An Viet will modernise production lines and production technologies to improve quality and make deeper participation in Vietnam’s fibre value chain. The company will increase the added value of 100 per cent unwoven PP spunbonded fabric from making products on this material.
He emphasised, "With machinery and technological modernisation and quality improvement strategies, we hope to make our domestic and foreign customers more satisfied with An Viet fabric product quality and we hope that the An Viet fabric brand name will become better known in the market.”
