In June 2008, the very first ceramic tiles produced by Catalan JSC were launched on the Vietnamese construction market. With the philosophy of "Customers' benefits are business goals of the company", after 5 years on the market, Catalan JSC has been recognised in the building material market and is particularly well known for its Catalan-branded tile products, which are trusted and highly appreciated by domestic and foreign customers.
Facing a very tough economic situation in the recent two years, the Board of Directors of Catalan JSC has actively evaluated and measured market information and planned reasonable production options to cut down outputs in order to reduce inventory pressures, offer reasonable price policies (sometimes sold below price), and boost consumption to balance inputs and outputs to avoid the "bottleneck", to ensure proper transfer of funds and to maintain jobs for workers. At the same time, the company is developing a lot of financial solutions such as: minimising unnecessary costs or costs not directly used for business operations and taking advantage of the funds financed by foreign sources under the principles of international trade because the cost of using foreign capital is very low, at one percent- two percent per year. With all the above practical solutions, the business activities of the company have grown steadily and the company has achieved constant growth in the number of customers, partners and distributors. Therefore, Catalan Company always reaps success with the growth rate next year 10-15 percent higher than last year.
To achieve this success, the leadership and staff of the Catalan company have strived to plan investment strategies with very high determination. From the beginning, the company selected equipment lines from the SACMI (Italy) and imported materials from the Colorobia (Spain) and some auxiliary equipment provided by the UK, US, Belgium, Japan and China, leading countries of manufacturing tile products in the world. In addition, the administrators of the company are well trained and professional and the operating chief officer of the company is an Italian production specialist and key personnel are those who have many years of experiences in the fields of the ceramic tiles. In 2011, Catalan continued to launch and complete the investment projects to create breakthroughs, make a difference and improve the competitiveness of products such as digital printers, a grinding and polishing line manufactured by the Nano and made by high quality imported materials to meet the development needs of the company. Besides some trademarks such as Catalan Gold, Titami, and Titan, the company continues to improve design and to improve the quality of their products in order to create diverse and aesthetic product lines under the impressive names, modern designs and good quality, which are increasingly familiar to consumers and meet satisfaction of the families in terms of arts and economics. In September 2012 a new production line of the company with the dimension of 300x600mm and 600x600mm was launched to the market and it has similar quality as imported products but at a reasonable price and the products have received good feedback on the market.
