ICO International JSC: Efforts for the Success of Students

In April 2008, ICO International Joint Stock Company was officially established with the aim of helping to narrow the gap between Vietnam’s education system and those of advanced countries in the world. Over 5 years of development, ICO has increasingly asserted its position as a leading enterprise in the field of study abroad, language training and labour export, becoming a reliable address for students and families who wish to bring their children to study and work abroad.

 

The founders of the company are officers who used to work at the Employment Centre in Bac Giang province, so they thoroughly understood the issues related to the labour market. In addition, its consultants, who have studied and/or worked abroad, can provide direct guidance and advise choices consistent with the financial capacity, abilities and goals of each student and family. In particular, ICO has representative offices in foreign countries where Vietnamese students come to study. As a result, the company has always been a companion to students in their learning process and working abroad.

 

Identifying that "Training is a key factor that determines the quality and success of each student," over the recent times, ICO has always focused on investment in building modern and synchronous infrastructure, equipment and facilities, applying training model by Japan and international standards. The company also opened over 30 Japanese language classes at high schools in the area to help them have early orientation and the best preparation in terms of confidence, as well as the language for learning process and job searching.

 

ICO has directly signed agreements with 34 schools in Japan. Accordingly, all these schools have a supporting team for students in seeking part-time jobs, and to appoint teachers to Vietnam to teach Japanese language to students one month before they come to Japan. Up to now, being trained from 6-9 months, all the students of ICO achieve Japanese proficiency level N4 or equivalent prior to application. Thus, it takes only one week for students of ICO to find a job to cover living expenses in Japan.
