TV.PHARM Pharmaceutical JSC: Harmonising Interests of Company and Customers

TV.PHARM Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, formerly Tra Vinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company, was set up in 1992. After more than 22 years of development, TV.PHARM has made constant progress in all aspects of operations. The current registered capital of TV.PHARM is VND100.8 billion and the workforce is constituted by 605 employees. In 2014, the company raked in VND415.3 billion of revenue and made a profit before tax of VND44.1 billion. The average monthly income of an employee was VND5.918 million last year.
 
The company is running a Non-Beta Lactam pharmaceutical production factory with an annual output capacity of 1.020 million pills and million sachets; a GMP/WHO-standard Beta - Lactam antibiotics production factory furnished with modern equipment and advanced technologies imported from European countries, the US and South Korea, capable of turning out 140 million tablets, 10 million bottles and 5 million sachets a year; and a dietary foods factory, operational in 2014, capable of churning out 100 million pills a year.
 
All pharmaceutical factories of TV.PHARM meet GMP-WHO, GLP and GSP standards certified by the Vietnam Drug Administration. The company’s quality management system, ISO 9001:2008, was certified by the UK-based certification agency BVQI. Currently, more than 300 products of the company are certified by the Vietnam Drug Administration under the Ministry of Health for of drugs in the country.
 
TV.PHARM’s products are accepted, trusted and used by hospitals and health centres throughout the country. The company now has nine distribution branches in Hanoi, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Can Tho and Tra Vinh and nearly 10,000 drug stores nationwide. TV.PHARM also exports its products to ASEAN countries and Africa, earning over US$110,000 in 2014. Although the value is not high, it has laid a good springboard to launch the company's achievements in the coming years.
