Initially, the company purchased local agricultural products for import and export but the margin was very low because of poor experience. Seeing that exporting and importing business required huge transport costs, she decided to invest in a truck fleet to serve the demands of her company and other partners. Starting from three units, the fleet now has 30 trucks and container trailers. The transportation fleet has enabled the company to be more active in delivery and reduce costs.

 

Since its inception, Nhan Hong Ngoc Viet Co., Ltd set five quality objectives in its business operations: Quality for livelihoods of employees, quality of purchased materials, product quality, service quality, and quality for consumers. Besides, the entire processes of procurement, processing and exporting of the company are compliant with international quality management standards.

 

Together with more than 30 vehicles, the 10,000-square metre warehouse employs nearly 100 local workers. Nhan Hong Ngoc Viet Co., Ltd is a prestigious brand name in the fields of freight transportation, export services, import and export consignment, temporary import for re-export, and international freight forwarding. The company’s revenue reached over VND400 billion in 2014 and was estimated to top VND500 billion in 2015 in the face of difficult import and export operations after it fetched VND200 billion in the first six months.

 

However, domestic and international economic situations are still in difficulty and competition on material and export markets is stiffer. Director Nhan said the company’s export and import operations are vulnerable to border economic regulation policies of neighbouring countries. Besides, the lax connectivity of local peers has brought more challenges to the company.

As a very experienced entrepreneur, she always seeks best ways for the company’s business operations in line with policies of neighbouring policies and development policies of Laos. To deal with material issue, she plans and adjusts purchasing guidelines under which only material suppliers with stable output and guaranteed quality, safety and hygiene are chosen. Regarding export price, she checks, researches and carefully calculates to offer affordable and competitive prices to importers. Last but not least, the firm at all times trains its employees of professional expertise and experience.
