PVFCCo Launches Scholarship Programme for 2015 - 2016 Academic Year
PetroVietnam Fertiliser and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo; HOSE-listed ticker: DPM), the manufacturer of Phu My-branded fertilisers, officially announced the launch of Phu My Fertiliser Scholarship Programme in the 2015 - 2016 academic year. Accordingly, the corporation will grant 364 scholarships worth VND2 billion.
PVFCCo will award 12 Hall of Fame scholarships, valued VND20 million each, and 352 Encouragement scholarships, worth VND5 million each. Phu My Fertiliser scholarships will be granted to tertiary students with outstanding academic achievements across the country, who meet PVFCCo criteria.
The scholarship programme, formerly known as DPM Scholarship or PVFCCo Scholarship, is an annual activity of PVFCCo since 2008. This materialises PVFCCo’s commitments to its corporate social responsibility to the community, particularly to younger generations - the future of the country. So far, PVFCCo awarded nearly 2,500 Phu My Fertiliser scholarships, worth nearly VND14 billion, becoming one of the biggest scholarship programmes in the nation.
