AK SEAFOOD: Constantly Asserting Brand Name
Anh Khoa Co., Ltd is specialised in seafood production, processing, import and export. After 15 years of construction and development, the company has maintained continuous growth and become a reputable brand in the fisheries sector.
The company’s seafood processing plant is situated on a 12-hectare site on National Road 1A, right the gateway to Ca Mau City. This facility uses advanced modern equipment from Japan.
AK Seafood-branded products always ensure food safety requirements, product credibility and quality and international standards such as HACCP and EU CODE : DL 465. Currently, the plant employs 500 local workers.
When it was set up in 2007, the company underwent the global financial crisis and economic slowdown. Even so, with its right development policy, the company overcame general difficulties to boost production and export turnover. In 2008, its export value was only less than US$15 million but it soared to US$61 million in 2014. The average monthly output was 375 tonnes.
The company received a lot of merits and awards from the Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee, central and local agencies in recognition of its efforts and contributions to local socioeconomic development. In particular, the Prime Minister granted the Certificate of Merit to Mr Tran Van Trung, President and CEO of Anh Khoa Co., Ltd, for its active contributions to new countryside construction from 2010 to 2015 and to the cause of national construction and protection.
