1,700 Sea-bound Tourists Arrived in Vietnam
On March 1, 2005, Oriana cruiser with 1,700 foreign tourists, mainly British, arrived in Tien Sa Seaport in central Danang City. Tan Hong Tourist Company organised a city tour by xich lo (pedicabs) for shopping and visiting the Champa Sculpture Museum, Jade mountain, and Han market.
The tourists also visited the cities of Hue, Hoi An, and Quang Nam province’s Phong Thu - Bo Bo countryside. This was the biggest group of sea-bound tourists to visit Danang so far.
