Vietnam, Germany Likely to Organise Investment Cooperation Conference

Dr. Vu Tien Loc, VCCI President, on April 26 in Hanoi worked with Dr. Martin Wansleben, Managing Director of the German Association of Commerce Chambers.

According to Dr. Martin Wansleben, his visit to Vietnam aimed to cooperate with Vietnamese bodies, including the Ministry of Planning and Investment and VCCI to organise a bilateral investment cooperation conference between the two countries that is expected to open in the first half of 2006. The conference will focus on the issues of cooperation capacity, investment environment in Vietnam, cooperation in training to develop enterprises. For example, VCCI and the association will help Vietnamese enterprises do business in Germany and EU, and help enterprises in Germany and EU invest in Vietnam.
