Vietnam Cooperates with Laos Provinces to Promote Tourism
Nghe An province in the central of Vietnam has made a survey on tourist spots and met with leaders of Tourism Services of Xieng Khoang and Luang Prabang provinces of Laos, aiming at cooperation in tourism development among the three provinces along Road No. 7, said Mr. Hoang Trung Chau, Director of Nghe An Department of Tourism
The survey revealed that the ancient capital of Luang Phrabang, a world cultural heritage site that receives more than 150,000 foreign visitors annually, lies on Road 13 connecting with Road 7 to the north of Lao, which is convenient for tourism development cooperation between Nghe An and Luang Phrabang.
Based on those advantages, the two Services intend to form a tour through three provinces: Nghe An, Xieng Khoang and Luang Phrabang to develop tourism along Road 7, including many tourist spots such as Cua Lo-Nam Dan-Chum Field-Luang Phrabang and vice versa. Nghe An’s Service of Tourism said it would invite Tourism Services of Xieng Khoang and Luang Phrabang to send their tourist products for exhibition and advertising to Cua Lo Sea Fair to be held in the next July.
