The Ho Chi Minh City-based Caravelle Hotel was presented the honourable Seven Star and Stripes award on January 23, by the Advisory Council of the Seven Stars And Stripes Group (
http://www.sevenstarsandstripes.com), located in New York, United States.
This is the first hotel in Ho Chi Minh City in particular, and Vietnam as a whole, to be granted the award. The criteria for the award are exceptional hotel and restaurant services. In 2006, Caravelle Hotel was the only hotel in Vietnam to be listed among the world’s most luxury hotels by US’s Robb Report Magazine. Caravelle Hotel was also voted the “Best Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City” by readers of Destin Asian Magazine.
