SSC Chairman Chats with the People Online

Vu Bang, chairman of the State Securities Commission, will have an online dialogue with the public via website www.dangcongsan.vn. .

 

The dialogue will start at 9 am Wednesday with the topic “Vietnam Stock Market: Situation and Solution for Rapid and Stable Development.”

 

The online dialogue aims to meet increasing demand for information on the real situation of the stock market, which has developed too fast recently.

 

Through the chat, people will be informed about market development and management policies, and measures ensuring sound growth of the Vietnam securities market.

 

In seven years of operation, Vietnam’s stock market has developed quickly. In 2006 alone, total market capitalization reached over 22 per cent of the country’s GDP, while the market index rose nearly 150 per cent, revealing people’s great interest in the market.
