Carnaval Ha Long 2007

 

The tourism event will be started with “Carnival Ha Long” on April 28, consisting of festive activities in Hoang Gia International Park and Bai Chay Ferry. The road-show carnival will move from Bai Chay Ferry to Du Lich (Tourism) Ferry via Bai Chay Post Office along the Ha Long Bay coastline. Flower cars and parades will travel the streets. Concurrently, Ha Long Bay will be full of decorated ships. Prior to the opening ceremony, a group of stuntmen will perform some of Vietnam’s specialties, like tumbling and walking on stilts.

 

Organizers have invited art troupes from Guangxi and Hainan of China, and Gang Won of South Korea, to perform at the festival. Famous singers like Anh Khoa, Ho Quynh Huong, Tuan Anh and Tan Nhan have been also invited to perform at the festival. The festival will close with spectacular fireworks.

 

In addition, the Ha Long Tourism Week will include other unique arts and cultural activities, performed by domestic and international companies, like dragon and lion performances, gastronomic festivals, and trade and tourist fairs.
