AgroViet 2007 - Promoting Agro Investment
The International Exhibition on Agriculture 2007 (AgroViet 2007), themed Vietnamese Agriculture - Integration and Development, will take place from 26 - 30 September at Vietnam Agriculture Exhibition Centre, No. 2 Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Hanoi.
At a June 28 press conference, Ms Pham Thi Tuoc, Vice Manager of Planning Department and Director of Organising Board said AgroViet 2007 aims to expand and advertise Vietnamese agricultural products in both Vietnamese and international markets; introduce scientific and technological achievements and production techniques for agriculture; and honour outstanding products, farms, enterprises and entrepreneurs of the Vietnamese agricultural sector. She forecasts that more than 300 booths will be registered by participants including guests, international organisations, joint ventures and foreign companies. AgroViet 2007 will be a good place to locate opportunities and promote investment in Vietnam.
Mr Tran Van Thang, Director of Vietnam Agricultural Exhibition Centre, said AgroViet 2007 will include a variety of exchanges and festivals and a ceremony to grant the “Vietnam Agricultural Products of High Quality and Commercial Reputation” Awards and the “Vietnam Agriculture Cup.” AgroViet 2007 will also incorporate various seminars and conferences, such as “countryside youth - opportunities and challenges in integration,” “overseas investment promotion with Taiwanese businesses” and “introducing scientific and technical agricultural achievements in integration.”
Especially, AgroViet 2007 will, for the first time, showcase outstanding machinery and technical processes invented and applied by farmers.
