PTSC Becomes Second Biggest Stock on HASTC
PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) floated its 100 million shares on the Hanoi Securities Trading Center September 20, becoming the second biggest stock on the bourse.
The shares, coded PVS, were traded at the average price of VND127,900 each. Its highest price was VND148,900, and the lowest VND119,000.
The company saw 314,000 shares matching orders in the first session.
PTSC has registered capital of VND1 trillion, operating in shipping brokerage, ship agent services and maritime brokerage, and ship supply.
At present, PVS has 11-one member limited companies, 2 subsidiaries, 1 representative office and 2 joint venture companies.
In the first quarter of this year, the company gained net profit of VND48.1 billion. It expects to earn after-tax profit of VND 196.31 billion in 2007 and VND224.4 billion in 2008.
PVS plans to pay dividend at 14 per cent for this year and 16 per cent for 2008.
At present, ACB is the biggest listed stock on Hanoi bourse with total 253 million outstanding shares. (Securities Investment, Vina Stock Website)
