U.S. Firm to Build US$4 Bln Entertainment Complex in Central Vietnam
The U.S. Providential Holdings is planning to build an international-standard entertainment complex worth US$4 billion in the central Quang Nam province in the coming time, the Management Board for Chu Lai Open Economic Zone (EZ) has announced.
The project, including a hotel, shopping centers, restaurants and entertainment facilities, would be built on an area of 600 hectares in Tam Hai Commune in Nui Thanh District.
The company is studying a large-scale study on the project, an official of the company said, hoping that the construction will be kicked off soon.
Authorities of the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone have hosted over 60 domestic and foreign investors seeking investment opportunities since the beginning of this year. Investors have registered to put about US$890.6 million into 21 projects, 13 of which (worth a combined US$287 million) have been granted business licenses.
The zone to date is home to 49 projects worth a combined US$600 million, of which 23 projects are operational. (Young People)
