Vietnam’s Jan-Oct Exports to Cambodia Reach US$1.3 Bln

Vietnam reportedly earned US$1.3 billion from goods exports to its neighboring country of Cambodia in the past ten months of this year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
 
In October, the country’s total export value posted at US$107.01 million, said the website without figuring out on-year comparisons.
 
Vietnam’s key exports to Cambodia are bicycles and spare parts, electric and cable wires, plastic products, garments and textiles, instant noodle, seafood, milk and milk products.
 
Among the country’s export staples, plastic products topped the list with US$43.8 million, followed by apparel with US$27.74 million, instant noodle with US$25.87 million and seafood with US$10.83 million.
 
Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Cambodia is forecast to surpass US$1.5 billion this year, up from US$1.2 billion last year. The two governments have expected to raise this figure to US$2.45 billion in 2010 and US$7 billion in 2015. (Vinanet)
