First Vietnam Golf Course Receives Int'l Environment Award

Van Tri Golf Course in Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi’s Dong Anh district has been awarded with the ISO 14001:2004 certificate by the UK-based UKAS for its environment protection system.

 

This is the first golf course in Vietnam to receive the certificate, Noble Vietnam, the investor of the golf course said.

 

“This is a very honorable award, as it will help the company raise its prestige worldwide,” Chu Duc Tam, vice general director of Noble Vietnam said, revealing that his company started the environment protection management system in line with the ISO 14001:2004 standards in 2008.

 

The Van Tri golf course which covers an area of 128 hectares was built with total investment of US$14.5 million. (Investment)
