Vietnam Central Province Seeking Investors for Big Projects

Central Khanh Hoa province is calling on investors for seven projects with a total investment of some US$2.1 billion.
 
The projects include two urban areas covering 5,700 hectares, three industrial parks of 483 hectares and two water supply systems.
 
The province is home to Van Phong International Transshipment Port which is located on a 120-hectare site and worth US$700 million.
 
The provincial Department of Planning and Investment has officially applied on-line business registration via the website khanhhoainvest.gov.vn. This will help save time and simplify procedures to businesses.
 
Khanh Hoa is a center of tourism and shipbuilding in Vietnam. The province is now home to five shipyards including Hyundai-Vinashin, Nha Trang, Cam Ranh, Nam Cam Ranh IP and South Korea’s STX. (Labor)
