VCCI to Organise a Training Session on Business Administration

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will organise a training course on modern business administration skills in line with OECD standards from May 19 to 23, 2009 in Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak.
 
The course will be lectured by Dr. Fran Morris, Managing Director of Director Education Asia Pacific Institute, and other senior consultants in Vietnam.
 
During the five-day training course, trainees will be taught by specialists from the Auditing Quality Control Division (of the State Audit of Vietnam) and professors from the National University of Economics. Six subjects will be delivered during the course, including accountability of director/member of the board of directors in accordance with the Law on Enterprise; operating models and principles of the board of directors; operating assessments of the board of directors and general director; risk determination and prevention; director and member of the board of directors with corporate financial statements; corporate operating assessment; strategy orientation; and corporate social responsibility, code of conduct and corporate culture.
 
OECD, or the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, was set up in 1961 from the Organisation for European Economic Cooperation (OEEC).
