VCCI, Nielsen Announce Top Ten Trademarks

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and Nielsen, the world leading market research company, co-organized a ceremony to announce Vietnam’s top ten well-known brands and honor 50 other famous trademarks in 2008 in Hanoi on April 20.

The top ten well-known brands include the four Vietnamese names of Viettel, Agribank, Bao Viet, and Kinh Do and the six foreign ones of Heineken, Metro Cash & Carry, Sony, Nokia, Omo and Honda.

At the event, the organizers also honored the country’s top 50 trademarks such as Vietinbank, Vinacafe, Bien Hoa, VNPT, Vinamilk and Petrolimex.

These results were based on a survey on 1,500 famous trademarks in Vietnam from 33 catalogues.

VietinBank and Metro Cash & Carry are the main sponsors for the event.
