Seeking Opinions to Improve Basic Construction Laws

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has recently held a seminar to seek opinions for supplements, amendments to basic construction laws in Hanoi.

 

Concerning basic construction investment, Vietnam issued many laws, including the Law on Construction, the Law on Tender, the Law on Investment, the Law on Enterprise, the Law on Real Estate Trading, the Law on Land and others.

 

Many overlapped clauses in the implementation of these laws. Therefore, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has compiled amendments and supplements to laws on basic construction investment. According to specialists, if this law is issued, many kinds of administrative documents will be removed.

 

Most participants said the draft had many points to address shortcomings in the current regulations on basic construction investment.
